Is the design stamped on the canvas or do I have to count stitches?

The canvas no longer comes with the pattern stamped on it. The manufacturers of these kits have changed the way they make their product and they are no longer making them with the pattern stamped onto the mesh/canvas. It's all counted and they all come with instructions. Thank you.
