yarn cutter tool for latch hook projects
I am doing latch hook projects with my students, but buying precut yarn is too expensive. Can I buy a tool that measures it and cuts it? I have 1 now, and one that is broken. Do you have any of those? Thanks!

Hello,

I'm sorry but we do not have any yarn cutter tools on our website :( We have fabric cutting blades but that's about it. You might want to check out Hobby Lobby or Herschnerrs. I know they carry them. Hope this helps :) Thank you.

I work at a school too and totally understand about costs. I found online the best idea for cutting yarn. I tried it and it works. Out of quarter inch thick cardboard cut two one inch strips about five to six inches long. Tape the two ends loosely together. Wrap your yarn around it without overlapping and then cut up one of the sides and you have 2 1/2" pieces of yarn. The two cardboard pieces makes it easy to slip the scissors in between for an even cut. Great for having students do themselves too! Hope this helps anyone that needs to cut latch hook yarn.
