Latch Hook Rug Kits
When I was young, many years ago, I used to latch hook and loved it so much! After getting married and having children, I had to put all my hobbies down to raise my family and work. Now that I am an empty nester, I would like to try this hobby once again. I recenty ordered a "latch hook kit" and when it arrived, I was very disappointed to find it was a "looping" latch hook kit, one I am not familiar with and definitely do not like. I was surprised because the description said "latch hook kit" and did not differentiate whether it was done the way I know how, with a heavy-duty canvas with holes and short strands of yarn or that it was done by looping through a piece of burlap with a long piece of yarn. My question: how can I tell the difference if, like this CAMO latch hook kit, it does not specify which of the two it is? I much prefer the old way and have no desire to do any "looping." Is there a way to tell the difference? I really like this kit because it looks relatively simple and might be just what I need to "jump start" my hobby again but only if it is not one that "loops." I'd hate to order it and then have to return it. What am I missing??? Appreciate any help. J De

Hello,

We get our product information on the kits from our distributor so that's what we have on the website regarding descriptions on the latch hook kits. The one you are posting about, the Camo latch hook kit, is a regular latch hook kit per our distributors description. It will come with blue-lined grid canvas, pre-cut acrylic rug yarn, easy to follow color graphs that coordinate with your canvas, one illustrated guide and instructions. The actual latch hook tool is not included.

Did you purchase this looping kit from our website? If so, please let me know so I can make changes to the description if we have it listed wrong.
