Latch Hook Kits W/Pattern on the Mat
Looking for latch hook kits that have the patterns on the mats for my mother, I am finding most kits have paper keys to follow this does not bode well for her and takes the fun & relaxing aspect away.... Can anybody point me in the right direction??? Of course she is not looking for children patterns...

Unfortunately, the manufactures of the latch hook kits, such as Caron, WonderArt and MCG Textiles, have stopped making them with the printed canvas. They made this change about a year ago and we aren't really sure why they stopped making this way but majority of the kits that are out now, won't have the design stamped on the canvas/mesh :( You could try contacting any of the above mentioned manufacturers to see if they are still selling the kits with the designs stamped on the canvas anywhere?! That would be the place that I would start.

If you can't find the canvasses she wants, perhaps you could draw them out for her using a permanent marker? I don't really have a grasp of the hobby, since I'm trying a lock hooking kit and it hasn't even arrived, but I was discussing patterns and just thought I would butt in and make a suggestion. Sorry, if it wasn't helpful.
