Reading pattern
While I enjoy doing this project, the color coding is hard to read, especially the black and dark grey. It is hard to tell where the colors go because of the code key. Something needs to be done to help in deciphering dark colors. Other than that, the project is is not bad to do.

I found it easiest to scan this pattern and 'blow up/upsize' the pattern in a paint program so I could read it, it does turn out nicely if you can decipher it

I do have the pattern but it was marked on. I put a small dot on the mahogany codes. It made it easier to read.

Hi... Next time you buy a kit that's complicated scan the instruction grid and email it to yourself. Then when you are following instructions on your phone you can easily magnify blocks. For the cornucopia kit I actually went through each row and listed every color from 1st to 100. Because there were so many colors it was easiest to follow when I numbered paper from 1-110 and filled in all of the yarn colors for each row. It was time consuming but much easier to follow. I hope these ideas help.

I just started to Latchhook, I purchased a kit and I've made a few mistakes, not that bad though.
The kit that I have, has about 10 different color yarns, I placed each color yarn in a baggie and marked the color from the map, on each bag and I just go to the bag if there is any question, I don't have a problem at all.
Hope this info helps someone!
