"full color printed canvas"
I am interested in buying this as a present for someone who NEEDS the printed color canvas -- without that, she will be unable to do the project and this Xmas present will be a dud! In the past, I have given kits as presents and they ALWAYS had the printed picture on the canvas as a guide. Does this one have that?
Also, what hook would you recommend to go along with this (she always loses the hooks, so something easy to handle and not expensive would be best).

These new Disney Latch hook kits do have the design stamped on the canvas. These are the first ones we have gotten in a few years that do have the stamped canvas because majority of the manufacturers stopped making them that way a few years back. But these new Disney ones do. Make sure to read the Descriptions on the items on the website and they should state whether or not they are stamped. If a description isn't' listed or isn't quite clear, just let us know and we can get it corrected :) As for the hook itself, these kits are brand new to us and I haven't actually done of these new kits yet so I can't say which hook would be best for these kits in particular. Some people prefer straight and some people prefer bent while they are latch hooking so it would also depend on what the person likes?!
