Can anyone tell me how I find out what mesh count my latch hook canvas is. Cannot see any figures on package

Really simple. All a mesh count is is the number of mesh grids per inch. What I do is to count out the number of grids in a measured 4 inches and then divide by 4. Mesh size usually falls into a few standards, 3,7 being the most common, I believe.
